As noted in Julien's Auctions' press release, buyers will be offered about 400 authentic lots from the secret world of espionage. Among those included are hidden cameras, listening devices, and other items from special services' arsenal.
The organizers highlight the Soviet encryption machine "Violet," the initial cost estimated at $8,000 - $12,000. Developed in the USSR shortly after World War II for the secure transmission of classified information, this device was used by the Warsaw Pact countries until the 1990s.
Also, lovers of Soviet relics will be offered a 450 kilogram bust of Vladimir Lenin at an initial price of $5,000, allegedly previously installed at the KGB office in Kaliningrad.
The Cold War Relics featuring the KGB Espionage Museum Collection is slated to go live online on February 13, 2021.
